Hi, this is Nazmus, and I recently decided to download and try out a new app by Microsoft called “Bing Wikipedia”. At first, I was hesitant to download it because I wondered “why would I need a Wikipedia app when the website works well enough?” Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I did download the app.

Bing Wikipedia Browser is a very elegantly designed app that lets you browse and explore Wikipedia. it is formatted like the Wikipedia website, so you feel right at home. But it is a lot more cleaner looking than the website, and the clicking on an image provides a pleasant gallery experience. In my opinion, it looks fantastic on a tablet. I prefer this over the official Wikipedia app for Windows.

And yes, you can select texts too. I am also thrilled that you can increase or decrease font sizes! This is great for people who have visual impairment, like me.

I invite you to check it out. Oh, and here’s you favorite green install button! :)

And nope, I did not forget the screenshots!

And here’s the app description.

Bing Wikipedia Browser by Microsoft combines the content from Wikipedia — the free encyclopedia — with enhanced search, browse, and content recommendations based on the Bing Knowledge repository.
Give it a try! Here’s the download link: Bing Wikipedia Browser
Revision 2: Fixed title and text to refer to the app as “Bing Wikipedia Browser” rather than “Bing Wikipedia”.
