DeviceFidelity and Spring Card Systems have collaborated together to create a revolutionary new product: the Moneto NFC MicroSD card. Yes that’s right, a MicroSD card to be used in Android smartphones with NFC capability!  The card, that has been in development for several years now, houses an NFC (Near Field Communication) antenna and radio that processes contactless payments via MasterCard’s PayPass system. No memory capacity is included on the card, but hey; its NFC on ANY* Android device! Availability of the card is said to been in the next few weeks priced reasonably at $30. Several handsets will be supported at launch – unnamed as yet – with further compatibility rolling out later in the year.
