Motorola Atrix 4G

The Motorola Atrix pretty much was officially announced yesterday at Motorola’s Press Event at CES in Las Vegas. When the devices was brought out, it wowed the crowd with its beautiful look and display. But that was just the tip of a pretty impressive ice burg. Once you see some of the specs and accessories. You’ll know what we’re talking about. So here they are.

  • 2 Ghz Dual-Core Processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • qHD Display
  • 10 mm thin body
  • Fingerprint unlock
  • Android 2.2 with Sense UI

This luxurious phone also has the option to be paired with two pretty cool docks.

Dock #1: The Multimedia dock

This dock features multiple ports to hook your phone and dock up to. The dock features 3 USB ports, a charging port, and a mini HDMI port. The dock connects to the phoen which then displays a full desktop interface on the TV or monitor you hook up via HDMI. That’s right, a FULL desktop interface. No emulator. No shell. All phone

The second dock is the laptop dock. It is exactly as it sounds, except the laptop itself lacks any processing power, RAM, or disk space. All of that is provided by the phone. The Atrix itself sits in a dock on the back of the laptop. When you open the lid, you are presented with your typical Macbook-esque looking laptop. The screen comes to like when you dock the phone and presents you desktop environment the way you left it.

The pricing on the devices along with the phone were not revealed but were promised to be priced competitively. The phone is being released onto AT&T’s network.
