Yes I know I was a little late to the party, but I was able to snag one of the new iPads from the first wave. There is a little story as well as an unboxing video for you all to check out.  The particular model being unboxed is the black, 16GB WiFi version. So for the goods, just head on past the break.

The Story

A week ago I made a mad dash to one of the local Radio Shacks to pick up my new iPad. I had called that particular store earlier in the day to inquire about their iPad stock. I was informed that they had one black, 16GB WiFi model left. That was the one I had wanted. So in order to avoid potential disappointment, I hopped on two buses from work to head to the mall that the Radio Shack was located in. The iPad was still there.  Like the eager little school boy I felt like I was, I purchased the unit. So the video below is the result of my little adventure. Enjoy!

Sidenote: I later learned that my local Apple store did not sell out of its stock. So I would’ve either have gone there or ordered on the Apple website if things hadn’t worked out the way they did. Enough of me rambling. Watch the video!
