In case you might not have noticed, Techtronica has been having some issues over the past couple of days. But there is a known reason. Within the past couple of weeks, Rewindhost (our former host) has been merged with our new host, GigaTux. This meant that all the sites that were hosted on Rewindhost’s servers in Chicago had to be migrated to GigaTux’s servers in San Jose, California. So earlier yesterday I had noticed some site issues that concerned em. So I reached out to GigaTux’s support and got this response a few hours later:

Sorry about that – we have been migrating some new users across and unfortunately, a bug in cPanel means this uses up a lot of memory. We are closely monitoring the situation so these slow speeds should only last a few minutes at a time.

The good news is that they’re on the job. So hopefully within the next few days, issues will be cleared up. If you experience anymore issues, please let us know in the comment section below and we’ll get in touch with our web host again.
