Welcome to our new series called “Image of the Day.” we pick seemingly random but totally awesome pictured found across the interwebs and share them with you here on Techtronica.

Today we chose an image that captures a great part of American history. A man and his son look on as the first space shuttle launch occurs. Then in the image on the right, the same two (now 30+ years older) observe as the space shuttle launches for the last time.) And thus ends another chapter in American history.
